MANKAURARTS is an Independent Art Studio founded by Manpreet Kaur in the year 2020. We started our journey with a hope in our hearts to bring smile and joy to the life of our clients. We at MANKAURARTS paint your amazing memories with your friends and family on a piece of paper or a canvas. To give a deeper and beautiful meaning to your creative ideas turn into an incredible art piece. Our clients are the most important part our journey as you encourage us with your amazing feedback to create wonderful handmade portraits, landscapes, contemporary art and even abstract art. Our goal is to keep painting and reach greater heights in upcoming years as a great team and as an Artist too.
MEET THE ARTIST
Manpreet Kaur is a contemporary realist artist, specializing in portraits of people and of pets, as well as still-life and modern art. Kaur’s work dramatically brings out the characteristics and personality of the subject she works on. She works in layers on her artworks, whether it is in oil paint or an ordinary pen or pencil sketch. She believes, ‘’ life of an artist is not a bed of roses, but an artist can survive both thorns and Roses’’. With this inspiration and understanding she founded mankaurarts and became a full time artist in Ontario, Canada.
Kaur received her formal training in drawing and painting in Punjab, India. She studied at govt. College of girls, finished her bachelors in arts and masters in fine arts with the Gold Medal. She taught at various well established educational institutes as an art instructor and art teacher. She participated in various competitions and art exhibitions even at national level. In 2019, Manpreet Kaur moved to Canada where she started her new journey as an artist and founder of Mankaurarts.
